Silk Weaving in Cambodia

Cambodia has had more than its fair share of troubles with wars and the daily reality of living with landmines.  But Cambodia is a vibrant country that seems full of hope for the future.  Their silk weaving traditions were at a danger of being totally lost because of the war.  However today silk weaving is making a comeback.

This amazing art begins with a different kind of moth than anywhere else in the world.  The moth gives Cambodia a fine golden silk.
